The Cyprus Photographic Society — Nicosia Branch (Φωτογραφική Εταιρεία Κύπρου – Τμήμα Λευκωσίας) was founded to advance the art and science of photography in Cyprus.
It is a living community of photographers, professionals and amateurs, sharing a passion for creativity and for expression through the lens.
The aim is to cultivate photographic education; to support members through seminars, exhibitions, competitions and photographic excursions; and to offer chances to be inspired, to learn and to work together.
The branch is part of the Cyprus Photographic Society. It takes part in local and international activities, presents Cypriot photographic work abroad, and encourages new photographers to join.
Photography, for the society, is not only an art. It is a way of living: a means of communication, of storytelling, and of keeping cultural heritage.
